From Tablets to Transformation, How This Program is Giving Schools a Major Glow-Up

Teachers are finally getting the “creative license” they deserve. Instead of being stuck with rigid routines, they’re now crafting focused lesson plans and meaningful learning environments that actually resonate with students.

Cikgu Weltiana from SK Karakit Banggi, Sabah, shares that the structured training and support she received gave her a massive confidence boost. This was a game-changer, especially in adapting her teaching methods for rural settings.

Meanwhile, down in Johor, Cikgu Hamidah from SK Peserai notes that the 3M Program (under the PAK initiative) has helped educators ditch the old-school “chalk & talk” method for something way more modern.

Through PAK, it’s all about visuals, tech, and hands-on experiences. It’s an inclusive approach that’s perfectly in sync with what kids actually need today. The result? A total comeback for students who previously faced hurdles in school. Confidence? Restored.

Vibes Check: Happy Students, Early Birds, and Parent Power

The transformation is real, and the educators on the ground are seeing the “magic” happen firsthand.

At SK Beladin, teachers leveled up by involving parents in the classroom! Imagine learning with your mom or dad by your side, it totally changed the classroom energy. Guided by teachers, parents used tools like tablets to teach their kids. The result? A quiet student who used to stay in their shell finally found their voice and confidence because mom was right there.

Over at SK Ulu Ranan, Kanowit, teachers reported a major “personality flip.” Students who used to be a handful are now focused and genuinely love learning. Even in the early hours, these kids are locked in, thanks to gamified learning apps like Kayam and Enuma. While they’re busy chasing high scores and rewards, they’re actually sharpening their literacy and numeracy skills. Talk about a “win-win!”

The “Early Bird” Effect at SK Kapit

Attendance issues? Not anymore. At SK Kapit, teachers used to struggle with students showing up late. But once PAK kicked in and word got out that they’d be using tablets, the vibe shifted.

Students living off-campus started arriving so early they were actually beating the teachers to school.  The excitement of using the Kayam app and collecting rewards is all the motivation they needed to ignite their passion for learning.

Big Dreams, Bigger Future

These stories are just the tip of the iceberg. Whether it’s becoming a doctor, a teacher, or a pilot, every dream starts in the classroom. The kids at SK Sungai Amang are already eyeing the horizon, ready to chase their ambitions.

But wait, there’s more! Beyond the 3M Program, PAK is also looking out for 19,000 SPM 2025 candidates who are at risk of dropping out. The program is all about rebuilding their confidence, fixing academic performance, and helping them map out life after school.
