The Music Run™ by AFFIN Turns Up The Beat for Its 11th Edition

Kuala Lumpur, 18 April 2026 – The iconic fun run that blends fitness and music made its highly anticipated return with its 11th edition as The Music Run™ by AFFIN Kuala Lumpur 2026, drawing more than 14,000 participants to Bukit Jalil National Stadium. With an upbeat playlist blasting along the 5km route, runners jogged and danced through the signature course in a high- energy celebration of movement, music, and community spirit.

The day-to-night celebration was elevated by dynamic emcees and DJs who kicked off the live entertainment and kept the energy pulsing throughout the stadium.

Malaysia’s hottest artists lit up the stage with back-to-back hits, building anticipation to a thrilling peak before the crowd erupted at the appearance of Malaysian music icon Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza.

Taking centre stage, her signature powerhouse vocals soared across the stadium, captivating the audience and sending waves of excitement through participants as they danced and sang along to every beat.

Earlier in the evening, the stage came alive with electrifying performances from Malaysia’s rising and established talents, including renowned singer-songwriter Talitha. (@talithabe), who opened the show with her catchy indie-pop and R&B hits.

DJs from Jambu Jambu Asia (@jambujambu.asia) fuelled the atmosphere with high-energy beats and lively spirit, igniting the crowd with unstoppable energy, before the remarkable Irene Catalina (@irenecatalinaofficial), who had participants grooving from start to finish with her dance tunes.

Leading up to the festival’s grand finale, Subang-bred multilingual rapper Lil J (@liljgram) took to the stage, engaging participants with his signature rap flows and dynamic hip-hop beats, keeping the crowd energised and on their feet.

DJ No Yeti (@itsnoyeti) then took over, mixing high- energy tracks and pulsating rhythms that propelled the party late into the night and ensured the celebration of music, movement, and fun never lost momentum.

Organised by Fresh Events Asia Sdn. Bhd., The Music Run™ has staged over 40 events worldwide, welcoming more than 360,000 runners to its music-fuelled experience. Blending the excitement of a music festival with the power of movement, the event brings Gen Z and Millennial communities together in a celebration of energy, fitness, and connection.

Over the past 11 years, it has built a loyal fan base, with participants returning year after year and inviting new friends. The event champions an active lifestyle in a safe, alcohol-free environment—making it more than just a run, but a movement that feels inclusive and motivating.
