Plan Your Next Singapore Getaway Around These Must-Experience Moments

With the year moving into its second half, it’s the perfect time for you to start planning your next getaway. Just a short flight away, Singapore’s calendar is packed with exciting experiences worth travelling for, from magical Disney moments for families, to world-class theatre productions, and
global concert tours for music fans.

Whether you’re travelling with kids, immersing yourself in live performances, or planning the ultimate fan trip, here are a few highlights you can plan your Singapore visit around.

For Families: Make It a Magical Trip on Land After Cruising

The magic doesn’t have to stop at sea. Families heading to Singapore for cruises such as the recently launched Disney Adventure can extend the magic beyond the cruise itself with plenty of family-friendly attractions across the city.

Before or after boarding, families can head to Sentosa to explore Dopamine Land, a multi-sensory playground filled with colourful installations designed for visitors of all ages. While on the island, families can also visit the Singapore Oceanarium to discover fascinating marine life through immersive exhibits and underwater encounters.

For young explorers, a visit to Mandai Wildlife Reserve is another great addition to the itinerary. New experiences include Exploria, one of Southeast Asia’s largest indoor nature-themed multimedia attractions, and Curiosity Cove, Singapore’s largest indoor nature-inspired playscape. Visitors can also catch the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, running from 24 April to 13 September 2026, Southeast Asia’s only stop for this immersive adventure.

And if you didn’t manage to bring home enough Disney magic from the cruise, stop by Disney100: The Wonder Store at Jewel Changi Airport before flying home.

For Theatre Enthusiasts: Catch World-Class Shows in Singapore

For travellers who love the thrill of live performances, Singapore’s theatre calendar offers plenty to look forward to throughout the rest of the year. Musical lovers can catch spectacular productions at the iconic Sands Theatre, where world-class shows regularly take the stage.

From 19 May to 14 June 2026, audiences can step into a world of pure imagination with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical, the Southeast Asian debut of the beloved production. To keep the chocolate magic going, visitors can also stop by Mr Bucket Chocolaterie for hands-on chocolate
workshops or pick up sweet souvenirs, from handcrafted bon bons to dragees, to take home.

Later in the year, the timeless classic CATS the Musical will be staged from 29 October to 15 November 2026, bringing its unforgettable music and choreography to Singapore. Rounding out the season, the renowned State Ballet of Georgia presents the festive favourite The Nutcracker from 26
to 29 November 2026, combining refined classical technique, traditional staging, and visually enchanting ensemble scenes.

For ARMYs: Turn Your BTS Concert Trip into a K-Culture Adventure

Fans who missed the Kuala Lumpur shows can catch the group during the BTS World Tour Singapore stop, which will feature four concert dates on 17, 19, 20, and 22 December 2026, the group’s longest stop in Asia outside Korea and Japan.

Beyond the concert, visitors can explore Korean beauty favourites at K Sisters Singapore or the JUNGSAEMMOOL Flagship Store, perfect for stocking up on skincare or even getting a concert-ready makeover. Fans can also capture memories with friends at Korean-style self photo booth studios like Solace Studios Singapore across the city to commemorate a concert trip together.

For food, try authentic Korean flavours at Song Gye Ok, known for its Korean chicken grills and samgyetang or grab pastries from Standard Bread, the cult-favourite Korean bakery’s first international outlet, as a snack before your concert. End the trip with an immersive dining experience
at Jeju Haenyeo Singapore, where food, media art and live performance come together in a journey inspired by Jeju Island.

From magical family adventures to must-see live experiences and unforgettable fan moments, there’s always something happening in Singapore that’s worth planning a trip around.
