From Batik to Blocks! Kapten Batik Unveils Tetris-Inspired Fashion Collection

Two worlds have collided in a unique collaboration as Kapten Batik joins forces with Tetris™ for its first-ever cross-border collection, blending nostalgic gaming memories with Malaysian batik craftsmanship.

Inspired by the iconic puzzle game loved by generations of millennials, the collection features nine exclusive designs across Kapten Batik’s signature shirt series, alongside special merchandise including T-shirts, tumblers, tote bags, lanyards and sling pouches.

According to the brand, the collaboration celebrates the connection between Tetris blocks and batik motifs, where individual elements come together to create something meaningful and beautiful. The collection includes designs such as Game On!, Bloom and Build, Console, Daylight City, Urban Wildscape, and Tetris City.

The Kapten Batik x Tetris™ Collection officially launched on 3 June 2026, available at all boutiques and online with a special 12-day activation at The Gardens Mall featuring retro arcade experiences, exclusive merchandise, interactive activities and giant Tetris-themed attractions.

For many Malaysians who grew up stacking colourful blocks on their screens, this collection is more than fashion but it’s a nostalgic tribute to a game that defined a generation.
