IPOH, PERAK, 25 JUNE 2026 — In a strategic move to expand access to higher education, Uni Enrol has been appointed by Perak State Education Department (Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Perak), as the official strategic partner with the launch of Program Biasiswa Potensi Anak Perak 2026, a statewide initiative designed to support high-potential students in pursuing tertiary education.
The launch was officiated by YB Dato’ Khairudin bin Abu Hanipah, Chairman of the Perak State Committee for Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports, underscoring the state’s commitment to nurturing future talent and ensuring that no deserving student is left behind due to financial constraints. The launch ceremony was also witnessed and mediated by members & associates of Perak Royal Family, Yang Mulia Raja Khalidatul Asrin Binti Raja Dato’ Shahabuddin & Music Director of Raja DiHilir Perak, Tn Ahmad Suhaimi Bin Dato Idris, reflecting the significance of the initiative at both state and community levels.

Through the Program Biasiswa Potensi Anak Perak 2026, Uni Enrol brings its partner universities to provide dedicated, non-loan financial support to help deserving students in Perak to realise their aspirations and pursue their dream courses at top universities in Malaysia,” said YB Dato’ Khairudin bin Abu Hanipah.
Bridging Opportunity Gaps for Perak Students
Through Uni Enrol’s role as the appointed strategic partner, students will receive end-to-end support from application and advisory to university placement helping them make confident choices about their future.
The programme is expected to offer 120 scholarships worth a total of RM2 million, connecting students to a network of 11 universities through Uni Enrol and providing them with access to quality higher education opportunities across Malaysia. “Program Biasiswa Potensi Anak Perak 2026” scholarship is supported by HELP University, IMU University, SEGi University & Colleges, MMU Multimedia University, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, First City University College, Forward College, Heriot-Watt University, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation and Dasein Academy of Art.

While the initiative prioritises students from B40 households, the scholarship is inclusive of all applicants, whether they excel academically, in sports, or face personal challenges. Programme Progress and Selection
The scholarship was approved and soft-launched on the day of the SPM result release. To date, Uni Enrol has received over 800 applications. Today, the list of the top 30 finalists is being announced. Following this, an interview and verification process will be conducted to select the final 20 recipients for the full scholarship, while the remaining candidates will be offered a 50% scholarship, with up to 100 awards available.

The scholarship programme will be implemented over a three-year period, reflecting a long-term commitment by the Perak State Government and Uni Enrol to nurture talent beyond financial assistance, empowering students with the guidance and opportunities needed to thrive in higher education and beyond.
The Program Biasiswa Potensi Anak Perak 2026 is open to eligible students who:
- Sat for SPM in Perak Schools
- Achieved a pass in Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah
- Meet merit and eligibility criteria
Through this collaboration, Uni Enrol and the Perak State Government hope to create lasting impact by empowering students with both financial support and trusted guidance.
