Malaysian fan community GDXBB20MY is bringing BIGBANG fans together for “Still Life With You For 20 Years”, a nationwide fan-led celebration presented by OPPO Malaysia, happening across Johor Bahru, Penang and Kuala Lumpur this August.
And this isn’t just another fan gathering.
Across three cities, fans can expect immersive exhibitions, themed spaces, performances, games, merchandise, photo experiences and plenty of BIGBANG nostalgia with each location offering its own unique way to celebrate the group’s two-decade journey.
3 Cities, 3 BIGBANG Experiences
📍 Johor Bahru — 8–9 August
R&F Mall
Johor Bahru is kicking things off with a BIGBANG-themed building takeover experience at R&F Mall.
Expect themed decorations, fan booths, merchandise, interactive games, community activities and a treasure hunt-inspired experience throughout the celebration.
Best of all, admission is free, with 288 exclusive commemorative freebies available each day on a first-come, first-served basis.
📍 Penang — 9 August
Base.PG Café
Over in Penang, the celebration takes a tropical turn.
The beachfront Base.PG Café will be transformed into a Hawaii-inspired birthday café experience, giving fans a colourful setting to celebrate both G-DRAGON’s birthday and BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary.
Fans who purchase one beverage will receive an exclusive commemorative freebie set, with only 188 sets available.
So yes, you’ll want to get there early.
📍 Kuala Lumpur — 15–16 August
APW Bangsar
The biggest celebration takes place in Kuala Lumpur, where APW Bangsar will be transformed into an immersive BIGBANG anniversary experience.
For longtime VIPs, this might be the highlight.
THE UPPERCASE is an immersive memory gallery taking fans through 20 years of BIGBANG’s music, iconic eras and unforgettable moments.
Inspired by the group’s songs and journey, the exhibition features experiences such as the Flower Road Walkway, Still Life Four Seasons and GD & BIGBANG: The Legacy Hall.
There will also be dedicated spaces celebrating each member’s individual artistry, along with hidden Secret Rooms where fans can discover exclusive surprises.
The experience ends at 20 Years in Frame, a high-angle photobooth where visitors can capture a commemorative photo to mark the milestone.
Entry to THE UPPERCASE is ticketed and organised through selected time slots.
THE INK, Where The Fans Take Over
If THE UPPERCASE is about the memories, THE INK is all about the celebration.
The community space will feature flash mob performances, vendor booths, games, interactive activities and community programmes throughout the event.

It’s A Celebration Built By The Fans, For The Fans
“Still Life With You For 20 Years” is a fan-led project powered by community fundraising and fan support.
Contributions help fund the celebrations across Johor Bahru, Penang and Kuala Lumpur, while ticket sales for the Kuala Lumpur event help cover venue, production, exhibition and operational costs.
Fans who contribute to the fundraising campaign will also receive appreciation rewards, with higher contribution tiers unlocking additional commemorative gifts.
In other words, every ticket and contribution plays a part in bringing this massive celebration to life.
