A friendly battle of flavors is brewing at Secret Recipe. Malaysia’s leading cake café chain has officially launched the Cookies & Cream Duo, introducing two distinct variations of the classic cookie-and-cream profile.
Whether diners prefer the sweet, creamy notes of traditional cookies and cream or the deeper, richer tone of dark chocolate, the new lineup offers a taste for every preference.
Two Contrasting Personalities
According to Ryan Chung, Marketing Manager at Secret Recipe, creating two distinct versions was a deliberate choice to cater to diverse palates.
“Cookies and cream has always been a beloved flavor we have been wanting to add to our cake roster. However, we also wanted to take the opportunity to introduce a different take on this flavor, catering to those who prefer a more bittersweet taste. It was a fun exploration to create ‘contrasting personalities’ of this beloved flavor,” said Chung.
1. Cookies & Cream Cake (Delicate & Creamy)
Featuring a white-glazed finish, this cake layers black cocoa sponge with vanilla custard cream, cookies and cheese cream, and milk chocolate soft cookies. It is topped with black cookie crumbs to deliver a familiar crunch.
Best For: Intimate gatherings (4 to 5 pax).

2. Dark Cookies & Cream Cake (Rich & Bittersweet)
