Explore vibrant festive décor, cultural installations, dance performances and exclusive shopping rewards from 22 October to 9 November 2026.
Pavilion Bukit Jalil is welcoming Deepavali with ‘Joyful Lights – Together, Here’, transforming the mall into a festive destination filled with cultural installations, intricate artistry and vibrant colours.
Running from 22 October to 9 November 2026, the celebration invites families and friends to gather, explore and share in the warmth of the Festival of Lights.
Discover Festive Installations Around the Mall
The festive journey begins at the Main Foyer Entrance on Level 3 with The Saree of 1,080 Blessings by UCSI Group. The group comprises UCSI University, De Institute of Creative Arts and Design (ICAD), UCSI Child Development Centre, UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur and Sekolah Sri UCSI Kuala Lumpur.
Inspired by 108, a sacred number in Hindu tradition, the installation expands its symbolism tenfold through a flowing saree. Hidden patterns and intricate details represent collective blessings and celebration.
Further into the mall, giant LED elephants flank the Spanish Steps. As symbols of wisdom and good fortune, they glow against festive florals, creating a striking backdrop for family photos.
At the PIAZZA Entrance on Level 3, shoppers can admire The Circle of Light, a kolam art display by City University Malaysia and City Fashion School students.
Traditionally drawn with rice flour at doorsteps, kolam welcomes guests and blessings into the home. This installation features elaborate patterns and floral borders, carrying wishes of prosperity and good fortune throughout the mall.
Nearby, glass showcases display tenants’ fashion, beauty, home and gifting selections in colours inspired by the festive palette.
The journey continues at the Bukit Jalil Entrance on Level 2 with another kolam, The Guardian of Auspicious Light. Filled with colour and community spirit, it completes the festive trail with an invitation to celebrate together.
Join Deepavali Workshops and Dance Performances
Beyond the décor, shoppers can also take part in festive activities.
At the Diya Paint & Glow Workshop, Pavilion Privileges members painted clay diyas in their own colours and patterns. Each lamp was prepared to be lit at home when Deepavali arrives.
More festivities are coming to the Foyer Entrance on Level 3, where Indian Semi Classical and Fusion Dance performances will take place on 31 October, 1 November, 7 November and 8 November 2026.
Catch the performances at 2.30pm and 4.30pm, as classical poise meets contemporary flair.
