UNIQLO F.RISSO Returns with a Knitwear Collection ‘Made for Dreaming’

UNIQLO is bringing back its collaboration with designer Francesco Risso for the UNIQLO F.RISSO 2026 Knitwear Capsule Collection, launching on 30 October 2026.

The 2026 capsule collection features playful colours, sculptural silhouettes and genderless styles, launching on 30 October.

Following their Summer 2026 capsule collection, the second collaboration combines Risso’s playful design approach with modern silhouettes and bold colours made possible by 3D knitting technology.

Titled “Made for Dreaming,” the collection draws inspiration from vintage knitwear, blending distinctive textures and contemporary designs for everyday wear.

Vintage Inspiration Meets Modern Knitwear

The genderless collection features two-tone colour blocking designed to highlight individual style. Its 3D knit technique creates garments in one piece, allowing for smooth construction and refined silhouettes.

The lineup includes turtleneck, mock neck and polo sweaters made from an ultra-fine merino wool blend that is lightweight yet warm. Voluminous V-neck and boat neck styles offer additional options.

HEATTECH socks and beanies are also available to complement winter wardrobes. However, these accessories are not made using the 3D knit technique.

For Risso, the collection explores the relationship between advanced technology and traditional craftsmanship.

“The fascination was never with technology alone, but with the paradox of its possibilities: to employ machines capable of engineering a seamless piece of knitwear, only to pursue the irregularity, depth and almost primitive intimacy of something made by hand,” he said.

He added that the collection aims to recapture the character of handmade textures through modern production techniques, balancing machine precision with the beauty of human craftsmanship.

The UNIQLO F.RISSO 2026 Knitwear Capsule Collection comprises seven items, including five men’s knitwear pieces and two accessories.
