LATEST: COVID-19 Death Cases Increase To 26 So Far

The death toll due to COVID-19 increased to 26. In a posting, MOH said that most of the deaths were elderly and have a history of chronic illness.

The 25th death toll (2,032 patients) was the 83rd local man with a history of chronic illness. He was hospitalized at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital on March 25 and was reported dead on March 26 at 6.55 pm.

The 26th death (1,321 patient) is a 53-year-old local man. He is a close contact of the 1,309  positive cases. He was hospitalized at Sungai Buloh Hospital on March 22 and confirmed to be dead on March 27 at 10.30 am.
