A bread delivery lorry that was reported stolen in Kuala Lumpur has been found in Terengganu.
In a brief statement released at around noon today, Gardenia Bakeries KL (GBKL) confirmed that the stolen lorry belongs to the company.
“Gardenia Bakeris KL would like to inform you that our delivery lorry registration number BKK3140 was stolen in Kuala Lumpur on March 30th and was found abandoned on the sidewalk in Kijal, Kuala Terengganu late afternoons on the same day.
“The incident occurred while the Van Sales Merchandiser (VSM) was on his daily delivery route. We are pleased to say that he is safe. The truck and all stocks were located at the police station for further investigation.
“To ensure the safety of our customers, GBKL has implemented policies and procedures to address this situation at this time. All products brought by the truck will be disposed and the vehicle will be disinfectants.
“People who have information about the incident can contact the nearest police station.”
