Vietnam Developed Mobile Sterilisation Chamber Allow Disinfection In One Go

As Southeast Asia is struggling with the current Covid-19, one country in Vietnam is coming up with innovations that they claimed can help reduce the impact of the spread of the virus.

“Mobile sterilization chambers” or as we might call them “mobile sterilization rooms” were designed by the Insitute of Occupational Health and Environment in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

According to a local media report, the system was designed based on an understanding of the principle of the use of the ionized saline solution in the form of spraying throughout the body to eliminate all germs on the surface of the human body.

Therefore, all these disinfectant solutions are made specifically for this purpose by ensuring that they are safe and will not affect sensitive skin areas.

So how does it work? An individual just has to enter the room or the small room and stand while their whole body is sprayed by the special fluid.

It is understood that the process takes only 15 to 20 seconds and can accommodate up to 1,000 individuals daily.

The results showed that over 90% of bacteria and viruses on the surface of the body and clothing were successfully removed after the spray.

The special room is also designed to be open and re-installed in other locations that are of public interest.

To date, it has been installed in several specialty areas such as the entrance to health clinics, treatment centers and schools around Hanoi since February.
