As reported by the Oddity Central, the fish that Azusa caught was known as ‘surge wrasse’ (Thalassoma purpureum). While in Japan, it was known as ‘Kinubella’ (キヌベラ).
It can be found in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans and can be found at reefs and rocky coastlines. Until now, the post that was uploaded on Twitter has received more than 37 thousand retweets and over 200 thousand likes.
