These Five Hacks Will Make Your Fragrance Last Longer

For certain people, perfume is a major need that cannot be underestimated. All parties agreed that the main function of perfume is to make body odor have certain scents. Therefore it is important to know how to use perfume properly so that the fragrance lasts longer.

However, various dense activities sometimes make the fragrance of perfume quickly disappear. Quoted from various sites, here are some tips on using perfume so that the scent does not quickly disappear.

Use a Moisturizer

The first thing you can do to make a long-lasting fragrance of the perfume is to apply a moisturizing ointment or lotion to the area of the skin you want to wear. The moisturizing ointment will hold the scent of perfume on your skin longer than if you spray perfume on dry skin directly.

Choose a moisturizer that has a neutral scent or you can choose a moisturizer that has a scent that fits or is similar to the scent of the perfume, you are using.

Use Perfume in the Right Area

The scent of perfume will feel more lasting if you choose the right area. Spray perfume only on the pulse points on the body only, such as the inner wrist, inside the elbow, around the neck, under the abdomen, behind the knee, at the ankle, and on the calf.

These parts tend to produce higher body heat that helps spread the scent of perfume throughout the body.

How to Choose The Right Perfume or Cologne

Although we used every day, there are still many people who do not know that perfume has various types. Some types of perfume have functions or are designed to be used in different conditions.

Types of perfumes include Extrait de PerfumeEau de ParfumEau de ToiletteEau de Cologne, and Splash Cologne. If you want a long-lasting perfume, choose the type Extrait de Perfume because the fragrance can last up to two to three days.

Normally most people choose the type of Eau de Parfum whose aroma can last up to one day.

Splash Cologne is the type of perfume whose fragrance most easily disappears because the essence of the mixture is very small so that the fragrance is only able to last one to two hours.

Do Not Spray Perfume on Clothes

Avoid spraying perfume directly on clothes. Because compared to cloth on clothing, body skin will be better for absorbing the scent of perfume.

Store Your Perfume Properly

Many people underestimate the storage of their perfume. Actually, the storage of perfume is very important to maintain the quality of the perfume. Keep your perfume in a place that is not too hot so that the smell does not evaporate and decrease.

Also, avoid direct sunlight because perfume is sensitive to sunlight. Then finally, make sure the perfume is always tightly closed so that the fragrance lasts long.
