As said by the Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the Wage Subsidy Program will be extended for another three months with a subsidy of RM600 per worker for all eligible employers, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
“The three-month program has saved over 2.2 million jobs.
“As the economy is gradually being opened, the wage subsidy will be set at RM600 per month for up to 200 workers per company.
“For workers in the tourism sector and other sectors banned during the term of the Conditional Movement Control Order (PKPB) and instructed to take leave without pay, employers may apply for a wage subsidy provided that the worker receives direct subsidy payments,” he said.
