95 Percent Agree If The Government Mandates The Use Of Face Mask In Public Places – MOH

As we know, Malaysia is currently undergoing the Recovery Movement Control Order(RMCO). However, the current situation regarding the number of COVID-19 cases is causing concern to the public.

It can be seen for three days in a row, the new case of COVID-19 has recorded double digits. As a result, the government is currently considering mandating the use of face masks in public places.

Due to that, the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) through its Twitter account has previously surveyed to see whether Twitter users agree or not if the government requires the use of face masks.

The results of the survey found that 95% agreed if the government made it mandatory to wear face masks in public places.

“95% agree if the government requires the use of face masks in public places,” said KKM in a tweet.

“Before being required (if any), KKM strongly encourages us to wear it, especially in crowded places because it can reduce up to 70% the risk of COVID19 infection,” added KKM.
