Los Angeles: Searching for actress Naya Rivera ended tragically. Glee star was confirmed to have died by the authorities on Monday, July 13, 2020, local time or five days after being declared missing at Lake Piru, California, United States.
She was found drowned in Lake Piru in California, on Monday after she was reported missing after boarding a boat for a stroll with her son, on Wednesday last week. Ventura district sheriff Bill Ayub said the body was confirmed based on the victim’s clothing.
Last Wednesday, Rivera, 33, was reported missing in the lake after renting a boat to go sightseeing with her son.
However, three hours later, a witness saw only his son in a drifting boat. Following the incident, authorities launched a search and rescue operation.
Rivera previously starred in Glee, a popular drama series about high schools in the United States for six seasons before it ended in 2015.
