After Crazy Rich Asians, This Malaysian Adele Lim Writes Disney’s Next Big Film

Imagine there is a story of the Malay princess by Disney, surely many are excited, right?

It may not be about the Malaysian version of the princess, but Malaysian writer Adele Lim has been entrusted by Disney to write Disney, Raya, and The Last Dragon, latest animation movie.

Adele Lim’s name is definitely no stranger to Malaysians. Not only talented but also successful in making a name for herself in the overseas art industry. For those of you who don’t know her, she was the scriptwriter for the box-office, Crazy Rich Asians movie.

Adele Lim’s involvement in the film was announced last year and it is rumored that the film will meet the audience this year. However, due to the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 epidemic, the film will be extended and will not be released in November 2020.

The film tells the story of Raya on a mission to save his world in search of the last dragon named Sisu.
