Three Friends Take 320KM Plane Trip For Their Fav Curry

Food has been associated with our life. Previously, food is considered only for our basic needs to keep living. As the saying goes, eat to live, and do not live to eat. However, with many palatable restaurants that were opened, we tend to keep the proverb aside.

Food has become a part of our lifestyle and shows a social standard in society. There are various restaurants nowadays to fit our preferences. It is so embedded in us that we can sacrifice anything to look for our favorite food even if it is far from us. But how far would you travel to get your favorite meal?

These three friends, prove that anyone will do anything just for the tempted food. They traveled 200 miles from their place just to eat get their favorite curry. And surprisingly, they traveled to the place by plane! Who would think of taking a plane just to get your favorite meal?

Daniel Sabhani, 52, and two of his friends, Simon Ledger, 43, and Mike Figg, 39, traveled from Sandown in the Isle of Wight to the Harrow in northwest London. The flight took about 40 minutes and they had to take a 15-minute cab ride to reach their favorite curry house, Lahore Spice.

The short trip came to £250 in total which takes up to only 2 hours. They said this method is much cheaper than any other option to get to the place.

Simon said it was an impromptu trip when Daniel suddenly asked them if they would want to eat curry. Daniel surprised them by taking them to Daniel’s favorite place by plane.
