A father is always ready to ensure that the lives of his children come first and their safety is always guaranteed in any kind of situation especially when in danger.

It was viral across social media where a video shows a father trying to protect his son when an explosion in Lebanon shook a building believed to be their home.

In the video, the man and his son appear to be stunned when a tremor is believed to happen in their house.

The man then carry his son and hurried to find shelter as soon as a larger explosion occurred.

An explosion near the Lebanese port of Beirut, Lebanon recently caused an impact and damage to surrounding buildings up to 10 kilometers away.

The tragedy is probably due to the fact that there were about 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in the port store. It is also believed to have killed at least 73 victims so far.

According to News.com, the blast is believed to have started with a fire caused by welding work at the port before the fire spread and burned chemicals stored nearby.
