Enzo Viola, a golden retriever that is gaining a lot of attention and loves through social media thanks to a very distinctive mark on his face. A rare genetic mutation left him with a black ‘splotch’ fur on the side of his face.
Enzo has his own Instagram account with 183,000 followers. He is owned by the Castro family from Texas who share photos and videos of the playful three-year-old pup.
A video on its Instagram account with more than 10,000 views shows Enxo dozing off on a bed, all snuggled up in a blanket looking comfy. he then blinked his eyes slowly and eventually falls asleep which people found it sweet.
Clarissa Castro, the owner, speaking about her dog, “Enzo has a genetic mutation, his black spotch! He’s special – and who doesn’t like to look at dogs. The mutation doesn’t affect any part of him except for his look,”. The 15-year-old continued to say that it is not just because of the mark that made her and her family fall head over heels in love with Enzo.
She explained, “We got to meet Enzo and his brothers and we instantly fell in love with Enzo not just because of his marking but because he was the sweetest and most playful puppy.”
“There’s so much to enjoy spending time with him, one of my favorite things is that he often falls asleep while tugging on a toy, he’ll just slowly lay down and rest with the toy in his mouth,” she added.
