Individuals Returning From Sabah Do Not Need To Undergo A 14-day Quarantine – Ismail Sabri

Individuals returning from Sabah do not need to undergo quarantine for 14 days at the quarantine center or at home.

The matter was emphasized by Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a press conference on the latest developments of PKPP, just now.

It is to answer the viral issue on social media about the 14-day mandatory quarantine imposed on individuals returning from the state.

“Many are confused and worried saying that when they return to their homes from Sabah either to the Peninsula, to Sarawak, or to Labuan they will be quarantined for 14 days,” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“So I would like to emphasize today that those who return from Sabah, to the Peninsula, Sarawak or return to Labuan do not need to be quarantined for 14 days either at the quarantine center or at home,” he added.

“So, the stories that say they need to be quarantined are not correct and the Meeting decided there is no 14-day quarantine for those returning from Sabah,” he said.
