MOH Requests PSD & Ministry of Finance To Appoint By Contract 1,899 Health Officers Involve 6 Positions

The Ministry of Health Malaysia today reported that it had sent an application to the Public Service Department and the Ministry of Finance to recruit 1,899 health workers for the purpose of supporting health services during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Additional support health workers applied for are:

  • Research officer
  • Nurse
  • Assistant medical officer
  • Assistant Environmental Health Officer
  • Medical laboratory technologist
  • Administrative Assistant (Clerical / Operational and Financial)

“The application was sent on October 9 (Friday). Apart from being placed in MOH health facilities, they will also be placed in quarantine stations nationwide and PMA such as KLIA so that international entry and exit matters are smoother and more effective,” said MOH on Twitter.
