Johnny Depp ‘Forced’ To Leave Fantastic Beasts

For fans of the Fantastic Beasts series, Johnny Depp will no longer carry the iconic character Gellert Grindelwald after he made confirmation through his Instagram account.

“I want to tell you that I was asked by Warner Bros. to resign from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and I have respected and agreed to that request. ”

“I will remain strong to prove all the charges against me wrong. My life and career are not based on what is happening at the moment. Thank you for reading, ”wrote Depp in his official statement on Instagram.

Warner Bros. confirms the matter and new actors will be screened for Gellert Grindelwald before it is re-screened in cinemas.

“Johnny Depp will leave Fantastic Beasts. We thank Johnny for his contribution to this film. We will be looking for actors for Gellert Grindelwald’s character soon, “said a representative from Warner Bros.
