MOH Shares Rates For COVID-19 Detection Test In Government Facilities

In accordance with the enforcement of the regulations, anyone entering Malaysia from overseas must pay the fee for the Covid-19 detection test before proceeding to immigration clearance at any point of entry.

Polymerase chain reaction (Rt-PCR)
Citizen – RM150 / Non-citizen – RM 250

Antigen rapid test kit (RTK)
Citizen – RM60 / Non-citizen – RM 120

Antibody fast test kit (RTK)
Citizen – RM30 / Non-citizen – RM 60

COVID-19 detection test fees at government facilities will not be charged to:

• Civil servants performing official duties at home and abroad.

• COVID-19 suspected non-citizen and non-citizen.

• Citizens and non-citizens who have close contact with COVID-19 positive cases.

• Residents in the Area of Restricted Movement Control Command (PKPD).

• Individuals under surveillance for diseases such as influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infections / Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI).

• Travelers from abroad who received COVID-19 detection test fee exemption.
