This A&W In PJ Has The First Retro Concept Design

// Twitter @aryanazara

A tweet posted by user @aryanazara blew up about an A&W that holds a retro concept of their interior design, dating way back to the 1960s.

A&W was started by Frank Wright who partnered with Roy Allen in June 1919, to help Wright with the root beer business he had started during that year. The company became famous in the United States for its “frosty mugs,” where the mug would be kept in the freezer being it being taken out and filled to serve the customers.

In 1963, AnW made Malaysian history when it became the first-ever fast food restaurant to have a base in Malaysia.

This was followed in 1965 with the first Drive-in restaurant in Petaling Jaya.

This could bring back memories for the older folks of their times when the first fast-food restaurant was ever opened. Maybe this could send your parents nostalgia!

Popular urban trends are now all about retro, including fashion, art and so much more. This could tingle your inner 60s selves!

The restaurant is located at Seventeen Mall, Petaling Jaya.
