Woman Cleans Room To Move Out, Shocked At The One Direction Merchandise She Found

A Twitter user under the name Caroline has uploaded a photo of the pile of One Direction merchandise that was ‘unearthed’ from their room.

They did not expect it to be that many.

One Direction has earned a staggering total of $820 million since 2011. The band has pulled $544 million from concerts and $135 million from merchandise like hats and t-shirts.

They’ve paid out $367 million in taxes, thanks to their slot in the highest UK tax bracket of 45%. Another $82 million goes toward expenses like concerts, staff, and agent fees.

The band has earned a combined salary of $164 million per year. Split five ways, that works out to $33 million each per year.

The One Direction net worth figure for each band member split five ways is $80 million apiece.

This isn’t surprising since they were the craze of the decade – every girl had one thing that was from them.

Just like any boyband, One Direction was the pioneer of them as they were put together by Simon Cowell from X-Factor in 2010.

The Twitter user is thinking of selling her merchandise to hopefully clear some of it.
