Did you know, Cica has been one of the K-beauty trends for several years from 2016 until now. Almost all well-known brands have released similar types of creams and masks, generally with ‘Cica’ as part of the product name.

Not a medical or cosmetic word but derived from a special skincare ingredient – ‘Centella Asiatica’ that helps soothe irritated skin and repair damaged skin, even more so with healing ingredients. There is also a report, Cica comes from Latin – ‘cicatrix’ (scar).

Cica or so-called Gotu Kola and Tiger Grass are very rich in antioxidants, amino acids, beta-carotene, fatty acids, as well as various vitamins including vitamins A, B1, B2, and C.
