Super Nintendo World to Be Opened In February 2021

Scheduled to be launched by the end of 2020 before the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the opening of Universal Studios Japan’s Super Nintendo World seems to have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation plaguing the world.

However, good news for Nintendo fans because the grand opening of Super Nintendo World is set to be on 4 Feb 2021. Based on the photos that have been uploaded, it seems that the theme park is almost perfect to get ready to receive visits from visitors.

The Super Nintendo World area will feature Mario Kart racing and other Nintendo game-based attractions. It will also be the first attraction based on video games and will cost more than 60 billion to build.

The cost includes a focus on details to create a ‘real’ environment and iconic building construction from Bowser’s Castle game that is sure to amaze the audience.

In addition, there are other attractions such as Super Mushrooms, stacked Goombas, Koopa Troopa, moving blocks, coins, and Thwomp. Although Super Nintendo World will open in February next year, the world’s first Mario Cafe & Store restaurant will be operational on October 16.

Visitors can enjoy free food-themed exclusively based on Nintendo games such as Mario and Luigi pancake sandwiches, drinks served in adorable Super Mushroom bottles, and fruit cream sodas.
