Use Foundation Every Day Might Be Good For The Skin – Experts

Are you the type who does not like to wear full make-up every day? We often believe that wearing foundation every day only causes clogged pores and damages the skin, and it is good to let the skin breathe.

First, the foundation can come in the form of moisturizing liquids (if your skin is dry and more mature), oil-free liquids (normal skin), or powders (oily and acne-prone skin).

However, times have changed, and so has the foundation formula. Information about applying foundation as a problem in your daily routine may no longer be relevant, and beauty experts agree.

What do experts say?

According to Nancy Woo, regional training director of Japanese beauty brand Shiseido, wearing foundation every day is actually good for the skin, especially now with the various technological facilities available.

“Apart from using skincare products, protecting the skin is also very important. Most Shiseido products have SPF factor and it can protect the skin from ultraviolet rays,” she explained.

While Dr. Windie Hayano from The Skin Inc. The Dermatology and Laser Center also agrees, there is some truth to it, especially now that many products have changed and formulations are better.

Most foundations now have sun protection, moisture, and other active ingredients blended into them such as antioxidants.

Dr. Raissa Pasion from SKIN Dermatology and Laser Center also recommends being careful when choosing a foundation. She explains that wearing foundation alone is not enough to protect the skin, which means we still have to wear sunscreen every day to do so.

“While we dermatologists emphasize that it is better to use sunscreen separately, the foundation with SPF is also good if the individual uses a separate sunscreen, ”she said.

Whatever, do not sleep with make-up, afraid of the wrong day of the moon damaged badly beautiful face clean.
