(Video) Marvel Has Quietly Given A ‘Hint’ Of The Existence Of X-Men Characters Since 2013

The previous Thor film was once criticized for featuring the worst phase of the storyline in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The chronology featured in the film is also not in line with the comic storyline.

Despite being criticized, one of its sequel films, Thor: The Dark World, is still considered important in developing the next phase of MCU Avengers.

In order to make up for the ‘mistakes’ of the Thor film at the MCU, there is an introduction of new elements taken through the film Thor: The Dark World in addition to the Infinity Stones to be introduced in the next Avengers movie.

The appearance of mutant X-Men in MCU Avengers

Earlier, in July 2019, Marvel studio director Kevin Feige announced that the mutant X-Men character would be part of the Avengers movie franchise. However, the statement was not explained in detail. Until a report was released by Marvel saying that the involvement of mutant characters would cause chaos in the MCU Avengers.

The next Avengers movie that was supposed to start filming in mid-2020 is unlikely to be released if there is an introduction to the X-Men mutant characters in the fifth and sixth phases of the MCU. But now, according to an Independent report, the Wolverine character in the X-Men is expected to appear in the fifth phase of the MCU.

How can X-Men be involved in MCUs?

Through the Screen Rant report clearly proves that the existence of mutant characters has been discussed through the cameo scene (side) starring Stan Lee as Dr. Erik Selvig, a psychiatrist in the movie Thor: The Dark World.

If examined carefully, the blackboard written by Dr. Erik clearly shows the theoretical discussion of the phenomenon of the Fault, the phenomenon of destruction of the cosmic realm of Cancerverse (civilization of Brood aliens) due to the mutant war of Kree and Shi’ar and then formed a multiverse in the X-Men comics, Jonathan Hickman.

Interestingly, the natural story of the Fault is likely to be told through the sequel film Doctor Strange 2: In The Multiverse of Madness directed by Sam Raimi. To find out how mutants act in the Marvel MCU, you must wait for the release of the next Doctor Strange sequel movie.

Marvel Studios is indirectly very confident that the X-Men will be coming to the MCU; a few years before Disney bought the 21st Century Fox network and restored the X-Men character rights to Marvel Studios.
