Netflix Malaysia Will Start Using Bahasa Malaysia On Twitter, Make Malaysians Happy

Previously, it was viral about a suggestion by Malaysians who wanted Netflix Malaysia admins to interact using Bahasa Malaysia on the social media platform Twitter.

Apparently, the request was realized yesterday when Netflix Malaysia announced that it would start using Bahasa Malaysia in making their tweets.

It is understood that the use of Bahasa Malaysia in the account, however, will also be interspersed with the use of English.

“Hi everyone, we hear you and we’re here to spark joy for all entertainment fans in Malaysia whether it’s Eleven or Sebelas to you. So we’ll be tweeting more in Bahasa Melayu, and if you prefer English, we’ve still got you covered,” said Netflix Malaysia.

With the use of Bahasa Malaysia in tweeting, Netflix Malaysia’s Twitter account is now starting to join several other countries such as Thailand and Japan which also use their respective national languages in tweeting.

The announcement is sure to please the locals who previously wanted the matter to be realized.
