DC Comics and PUMA collaborate in the creation of a new sneaker. Superman’s alternative black suit in Zack Snyder’s Justice League inspired this merchandise. According to DC Shop, the black PUMA Suede shoe features the Superman logo, a form stripe inspired directly by the new Black Suit and art created by Jen Bartel in the shoe insert.
Snyder confirmed he had to convince Warner Bros to let him depict Superman in the alternate suit. The director did tests to see what it would look like on Henry Cavill. “I was a big advocate (of the black suit),” Snyder stated. “They were not so much.”
“We devised a method in which we could easily turn the suit, using the existing suit to the black and silver suit that you see in the movie. We knew exactly how to do it when we went into it and, as I say, it was always my intention to have him in that suit and it’s glorious he’s in that.”
The Zack Snyder’s Justice League Black Suit Superman Puma Suede Sneakers retail for $150.00 (RM621.97). The shop limits it to three pairs per order. The shoes are available for pre-order now so first-come, first-serve. No returns or exchanges are permitted. The Snyder-inspired sneakers will ship in May 2021.
