The government informed that individuals who want to go to Sarawak for work with the permission of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) must undergo a swab test screening within three days before travel and must undergo a quarantine period of 14 days upon the arrival.
According to the Senior Minister Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Ismail Sabri in a press conference today informed that the cost of swab screening test treatment and quarantine period conducted by Sarawakians will be paid by the state government. However, for non-Sarawakians, it is necessary to incur their own costs.
While moving out from Sarawak to the Peninsula does not need to undergo a ‘swab test’.
Bagi pergerakan keluar dari Sabah ke Semenanjung TIDAK PERLU menjalani swab test sebelum berlepas, manakala individu dari Sabah ke Sarawak atau Labuan PERLU menjalani swab test dalam tempoh tiga (3) hari sebelum berlepas.
