Movie Review: What Can Be Said About ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’

The Snyder Cut from a myth was released yesterday on HBO Max. Due to the death of Snyder’s daughter and the dispute with studios, Joss Whedon took over Justice League (2017).

That version contains reshoots, cuts, and not including some scenes in the trailer – producing an awful final product. This caused fans to release the most long-running hashtag of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and now, it is a reality.

Here is how it is different from the awful 2017 version.

In comparison to the two-hour theatrical version, this cut has four hours. Which means you will need an intermission.  The duration allows for a more fleshed-out version of the characters. It builds up to the Snyder version of the comic book characters.

They included a lot of deleted scenes. Some scenes were rearranged giving it a fresher look than just seeing the same movie twice.

Those who have seen the new Snyder Cut trailer noticed the aspect ratio. Zack Snyder explained it is to capture the way the characters “ascend” to capture their glory. Also how small they look in the midst of the catastrophe.

Cyborg gets a lot of boost in this version. Fans noticed scenes from the trailer that wasn’t included in the theatrical version. Rest assured that Snyder Cut will make up for the lost character backstory.

Snyder’s version of Batman is a dark one – one version that took years for people to appreciate since BvS. But this version puts more focus on Batman as the leader of Justice League.

Even Superman’s resurrection is better in this version. For Aquaman, there are more blood and action with the Atlantian scenes.

However, some of the CGI requires more polish despite still being watchable. Some of the storylines still need explanation. But I bet they still got more stories to tell with future movies. Hopefully.
