Toy Company Creates A Doll, Inspired By 6 Years Old Girl With Down’s Syndrome

Recently, a particular Irish toy company named ‘Lottie Dolls’ has officially released their latest creation that is a really gorgeous Downs’ syndrome doll in conjunction with World Down Syndrome Day. The doll was actually inspired by Rosie Barnett who is from Wiltshire. She is a six-year-old beautiful girl and has Down’s Syndrome. The new doll created is called Rosie Boo. She feels so thrilled after she has inspired the Irish toy company to make a Down’s syndrome doll to look just like her.

Rosie Barnett’s father named Jason Kneen said, “It looks a lot like she, and she love it”. World Down Syndrome Day was marked on the 21st of March. The new doll was released just ahead of time. Speaking about raising awareness for Down’s syndrome, Jason Kneen also added, “We’re thrilled, at this time of year especially, that we can raise awareness for Down’s syndrome and educate children on the differences that Down’s syndrome comes with, and what makes these kids special”.

The particular gorgeous dolls are now available online from Lottie Dolls’ website and are available at the price of RM130.97. The Down’s syndrome charity known as Andover Twenty1 will receive a total of RM5.70 from every sale made from that particular doll. The company also has taken to Twitter to speak about the dolls and stated, “Rosie Boo Lottie Doll now available for Pre-Order”. They also stated on the website,
