Currently, Malaysia is still working on the first phase of the vaccination program where there are still providing the vaccine towards all the frontliners in the country. Because of that, an initiative named MyVAC (Malaysia Vaccine Support Volunteers) has been established. It is actually a collaboration between the Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), Ministry of Youth & Sports (KBS), Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), and also the Red Crescent Society Malaysia (MRCS).
MyVAC initiative is to help in the launch of the government immunization program by placing individuals who are willing to serve on the vaccination team. The government has also established MySukarela which is a volunteer program just to support the implementation of the MyVac program. To support the noble cause, KPMG Malaysia also has announced that their firm will be providing seven days of paid leave to all eligible KPMGians who sign up as a volunteer for this program.
We're committed to be part of the solution towards eradicating the #COVID19 virus, keeping the wellbeing of our People & society a priority. Hence, the firm will provide 7 days of paid leave to eligible KPMGians keen to volunteer #MyVAC
