Food Review: What Special About ‘BTS Meal’ From McDonald’s

On the 26th of May 2021, McDonald’s Malaysia in collaboration with the famous Korean boy band, BTS released ‘BTS Meal’. It comes with 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, a medium Coke, a medium Fries, and two special sauces.

During the first day of the launch, the BTS Malaysian Army were excited to get the limited-time meal that comes in exclusive packaging. Army, which stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth is the official fan club of BTS.

The nuggets and fries from McDonald’s are straight fire but there is nothing unusual about them.

As for the two sauces, they are Sweet Chilli sauce and Cajun sauce. They are inspired by the available sauces in Korea. The Sweet Chilli sauce taste just like the normal chilli sauce they serve at McDonald’s but this time, a little bit sweeter just to your liking.

The Cajun, on the other hand, is not what Malaysians are used to have even though it is just another classic dressing in other countries. The creamy orange Cajun sauce tastes just like mustard.

The BTS Meal is available until 16 June 2021. You can get yours from McDonald’s Drive-Thru, McDelivery, or in stores while stock lasts.
