What ‘Us’ Is About

In 1986, Adelaide, a young girl watched a commercial for Hands Across America. During the night, she wanders off from her parents at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and enters a funhouse. In that place, she saw a doppelganger of herself in the house of mirrors.

As the years pass, adult Adelaide goes on vacation with her family consists of her husband, Gabe Wilson, and their children, Zora and Jason. She still went despite the fact that she was anxious about the trip as she was still haunted by the memories of what she encountered when she was a kid.

During their trip, they encountered strange events before the night, where the story folds.

What Can Be Said About ‘Us’

This movie will send a chill down your spine but the best thing about it is the plot twist. It was rated 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and it is recommended as one of the best horror-thriller movies you can find on Netflix.

David Sims from the Atlantic said the movie was, “a thrill ride, it’s a somber parable, it could be the first chapter in a much more encyclopedic sci-fi story, and Peele has found a way to cram all of that into this gleeful blast of a film.”
