Disney has officially announced the arrival of ‘Disney+Hotstar’ which is its highly anticipated video streaming platform in Malaysia on the 1st of June 2021. This comes after months of speculations that Disney+ will be rolling out in Malaysia before the year ends. Malaysians can now be able to stream and binge on content from Walt Disney’s family of companies. It will bring its 800 films and 18,000 episodes of TV series that range from Disney’s massive catalog of content to local television series and films.
Subscription for the service will price at RM54.90 for three months, though there will be special packages for Astro subscribers. Astro’s ‘Our Movies Pack’ customers will be able to stream Disney+ content for an additional RM5 per month. Including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and also Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
