(Video) “Barcelona Didn’t Value Me And..,” – Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez was in tears while making a video call with his family and friends after he scored his 21st goal of the season for Atletico Madrid in winning the La Liga title. Suarez was shocked when he was ‘removed’ from Barcelona last summer and moved to Atletico Madrid on a free transfer.

Following that, he finally proved that his performance is in the best condition in the league competition which is so intense this time.

As soon as the final whistle was blown at Real Valladolid to confirm Atletico as champions, Suarez was so emotionally reminiscent of the Barcelona team.

“Barcelona didn’t value me and Atletico opened their doors for me. I will always be grateful to this club for trusting in me,” he said.

On Sunday, Atletico Madrid won La Liga and Luis Suarez ensured a 2-1 win over Real Valladolid.

“I’m sure (Lionel) Messi is happy for me as a friend. It was a difficult situation that I had to experience because of the way I was treated (by Barcelona).

“Atletico had a great season despite the difficulties. It wasn’t normal that we had such a good first half of the season and it wasn’t normal that we had that big dip either but in the end, we end up as Champions,’ added Suarez.

Suarez, like his other teammates, was eager to share the moment with those closest to him and he cried with a video call as he met at the La Liga title celebrations with his loved ones.
