A snake catcher was bitten by a wild python while he was out of a women’s garden in Australia, as shown in a video on YouTube. Josh Castle, which runs Josh’s Snake Catching and Relocation in Brisbane, Queensland, caught a disturbing reptile in a tree at a property in Northlakes.
In the video, recorded on Saturday (May 22) Josh shows himself struggling with a carpet python that he says is large enough for his species.
As the snake hugged his neck tightly, Josh said: “Jesus Christ!” He then pulled on the snake’s tail and tried to free himself from its deadly grip.
The snake suddenly struck his head, hitting him near the ear causing Josh to startle while the sound of others screaming could be heard in the background.
He then identified the snake as a carpet python. The python was eventually caught with the help of a hairdryer and released in a bush area away from people’s homes.
“They are still a wild animal, so I still have to be careful,” said Josh.
