Couple Spend £15,000 On KFC, Served It At Their Wedding

A couple who are also fans of fast food, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), spent £ 15,000 to buy KFC Bargain Buckets to serve to guests at their wedding. Elliot and Jessica Caswell-James said they shared a menu of fried chicken during their first date 12 years ago.

Since then, the couple will eat KFC on a weekly basis.

To celebrate their happy day, the couple gave a basket full of specially ordered KFC food along with other souvenir items to all the guests who attended their wedding last year. Jessica also revealed that while pregnant with their daughter, Eva, she craved to eat KFC.

“When I was pregnant, I really wanted the spicy wings and the Supercharger sauce, after making sure it was safe to eat them,” Jessica said.

The couple, who will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary, won a competition organized by KFC and were named the most loyal KFC fans in Britain by the popular fast food restaurant chain.

The couple, who hail from Tipton, near Birmingham, received a gift in the form of a visit to the first KFC branch located in Kentucky, USA.

“I was so surprised when they emailed to say we’d won. This is essentially going to be our honeymoon.

“It’s completing the circle. We had it at our wedding and we’re excited to visit the first KFC and learn about the history and get some photos, “she added.
