Misfortune befell a father who bought a bargain swimming pool online when he was deceived by an advertiser. It is said that the item received is actually a foot spa for children.
The father named Mick Daffern was intrigued by the £7 bargain offer when doing an online search.
The father of two children, however, did not realize that the picture displayed in the advertisement was recorded too close.
He only found that the ‘swimming pool’ he bought did not fit for him to swim in as soon as the items were sent to him. According to reports, he thought the adult pool was 8 feet in size, suitable for him to swim in his free time.
Instead, Mick received a 1-square-foot foot spa for children. However, his nine-year-old daughter was lucky to be able to enjoy the toy despite it falling short of her dad’s expectations.
“The advert showed the inflatable up close. The perspective confused me. It was a complete con.
“But what we got left me hysterical. I could do 4,000 lengths of this inflatable pool, no sweat,” he said.
