Have you ever heard of Deus Ex: Human Revolution? The same studio behind that famous game, Eidos Montreal is currently working on making a new game based on one of Marvel’s most famous superhero groups next. This single-player game is simply titled after the famous Marvel superheroes group, Guardians of the Galaxy.
The game puts players in a third-person action-adventure experience in the role of Peter Quill or more known as Star-Lord. In this game, there is a unique twist where Star-Lord will be accompanied by the rest of the Guardians at all times and the setting is sometimes after an intergalactic war. It was when the Guardians is still a new group that was built less than a year ago.
Footage of early gameplay showed a game full of big shooter battles, ’80s music in the background, colorful worlds, alien monsters, shiny starships, and lots of swordplays. It was also said that choice will play a large part where your decision will impact the story. For example, in one of the sequences, you’ll have to decide to sell whether Rocket or Groot to some kind of monster collector.
Guardians of the Galaxy launches on October 26th. It is available for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
