A video from Tik Tok went viral and received applauds from the audience. The video shows a brave teen push a huge bear out of her backyard to save her dogs.
Hailey Morinico, a 17-year-old teen from Southern California told KABC-TV that she heard her dogs barking loudly outside and that is when she noticed the bear. The moment captured was posted on her cousin’s account, Stephanie Lopez Villalobos on Tik Tok. As of today, it gained 65 million views.
“She sent the video on our family group chat and I just knew people would think it was crazy so I posted it,” Villalobos told the outlet. “We did not expect this much of a reaction though!”
The moment was caught on security cameras on Memorial Day, at the family’s home in Bradbury, California.
In the video, it shows that several dogs were running around and barking as they saw a bear and her two cubs standing on the wall in the family’s backyard. Morinico runs out of the house and immediately shoved the bears from attacking the dogs.
“I see the bear, it’s grabbing my dog, Valentina, and I have to run over there. She’s a baby,” Morinico told KTLA. “And the first thing I think to do is push the bear. And somehow it worked.”
After that, the teen brought one of the puppies into the house. The bear went away moments later and Morinico did not suffer any injuries from the accident.
