All these stadiums are located all over Malaysia and they could be such significant buildings for the particular state:

1) Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Negeri Sembilan (Capacity: 45,000)

Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium also known as the STAR of Paroi is a multi-purpose stadium in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people and was opened in 1992. In 2004, the capacity of the stadium had been upgraded to 45,000 people for the hosting of the 2004 Sukma Games. It is currently home to Negeri Sembilan Football Association.

2) Sarawak Stadium, Sarawak (Capacity: 45,000)

Sarawak Stadium that is located specifically in Sarawak is actually a multi-purpose stadium in Kuching, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 45,000 spectators.

3) Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Kuala Terengganu (Capacity: 50,000)

Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuala Nerus District, Terengganu, Malaysia. Together with the adjacent Mini Stadium, it forms the centrepiece of Terengganu Sports Complex. It was used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people and is named after the reigning Terengganu Ruler, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. The biggest stadium in the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia was built to replace Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium as the state’s main stadium.

4) Shah Alam Stadium, Selangor (Capacity: 80,372)

The Shah Alam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. It is used mostly for football matches but also has facilities for athletics. The stadium is the official home of Selangor F.C. and has a capacity of 80,372. Despite multiple renovation attempts over the years, the stadium is currently in a state of disrepair resulting from long-term neglect in maintenance. In 2020, the Malaysian Football League (MFL) announced that the dilapidated stadium may be barred from hosting Malaysia Super League matches, due to safety reasons arising from the stadium’s polycarbonate roof and pitch being in a poor state. The Menteri Besar of Selangor, Amirudin Shari, stated that repairing the stadium may cost up to RM250m.

5) Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur (Capacity: 87,411)

The Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, located in the National Sports Complex to the south of the city centre of Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur, all-seater multi-purpose stadium and the home ground of the Malaysian national football team. With a capacity of 87,411, it is the largest in Southeast Asia and the eighth largest football stadium in the world. It was officially inaugurated by the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, on 11 July 1998 ahead of the 1998 Commonwealth Games and staged the opening ceremony. Since then, it has also become the main venue for other international multi-sport events such as the 2001 Southeast Asian Games and the 2017 Southeast Asian Games, and nowadays host most Malaysian international football matches, national-level football competition finals such as the Malaysia FA Cup, Malaysia Cup, athletic events and more.
