Helping Flood Victims, These Mosques And Also Tahfiz Provide Shelter And Food

The bad flood situation that happens nowadays in our beloved country that is Malaysia has really affected so many people badly. Some people might have lost their own home where they used to use for shelter for themselves and also all of their family members. Luckily, there are so many places that are willingly giving out help for the flood victims.

These places that reached out to help are also including mosques and also tahfiz center so that all of these flood victims are able to survive this trying time despite having to face the consequences. For those who might not know, these mosques and tahfiz centers provide shelter and food supplies for the flood victims. These are some of them.

1) UiTM Shah Alam Mosque

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) opened the UiTM Shah Alam mosque as temporary accommodation for all flood victims around Shah Alam, Selangor following the severe floods that hit almost the entire area in the Klang Valley.

2) National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara)

All mosques in the Federal Territory were opened as PPS as early as Saturday before an official statement was issued by the JPM on Sunday. The mosque has also provided various facilities for flood victims, including non -Muslims.

3) Nahdhah Al-Islam Mosque

The mosque provides food, clothes, baby milk, and also pampers. It also provides shelter for those who are stranded. A lot of flood victims are very thankful for the particular excellent service.

4) Islamic Center UPM (Pusat Islam UPM)

Dapur Rezeki Project Flood Relief Mission jointly organized by WAZAN UPM, UPM University Islamic Center, and Sahabat Masjid UPM from 21 to 23 December 2021. Food will be donated to flood victims in 350 packs every day.

5) Madrasah Tahfiz Wal Ulum Darul Yamani

We from Madrasah Tahfiz Wal Ulum Darul Yamani & Dar Ummahat Lil Mu’minin will be holdinga Flood Relief Mission in Kg Sungai Serai Hulu Langat, Selangor.
