1) Correct way to dry leather shoes

You would think that you have to make it dry as soon as possible if your shoes get wet. Before you decide to do that, it is very advisable for you to avoid applying heat to them. Even though the heat help to make it dry quicker, it also is going to damage the leather shoes. Brittle and cracking could happen towards them. On the contrary, if you just let leather shoes wet in a dark place, they will dry slowly and could promote the growth of mold.

To correctly dry them, you have to know what kind of leather you are dealing with. If it is faux leather, just put newspaper inside of the shoe so that the shape would be protected. Next, it would also help to absorb moisture.
