Olivia Rodrigo At Women In Music 2022, Accepts Woman of The Year

Olivia Rodrigo has recently accepted the Woman Of The Year Award. The recognition and award were given to her in the Women in Music 2022 that was held in the United States. For those who might not know, this is an event proudly hosted by Billboard. It is solely to recognize all the amazing contributions made by all women in the music industry.

This is indeed one of the biggest achievements accepted by Olivia Rodrigo throughout her career. While accepting the title, she has also performed a worthy watched performance of her song titled ‘Deja Vu’ from her Sour album.

According to Billboard, she performed an acoustic version of the song. While wearing a pink-clad outfit. She sang it directly into the camera. She did that so the fans could feel the closeness that she is trying to have between them.

At the end of her speech which she said, “I wanna say to all the young girls out there who are writing songs every day, in their journals, on their bedroom floors. I am constantly moved by your vulnerability and creativity and bravery”.
